Mr. El Bachir HAJJI is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hassan II University, Casablanca, from October 2017 to the present. He previously earned a Master of Research in Biology and Health from Ben M’sick Faculty of Sciences, Hassan II University, Casablanca, where he graduated with an award of excellence and as valedictorian of the class of 2015-2017. He obtained a Fundamental Bachelor’s Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Faculty of Science, Ibn Zohr University, Agadir, in June 2015. Mr. HAJJI also holds a Certificate of French Language Test (“TCF TP”) from the French Institute, Agadir, awarded in March 2015, and a “DEUG” (Diploma of General University Studies) in Biology from the Faculty of Science, Ibn Zohr University, Agadir, obtained in June 2014. His educational journey began with a Biology and Earth Sciences Baccalaureate (SVT) in June 2011.

Experience:

Mr. El Bachir HAJJI has completed various internships and work experiences, including an internship at the Lyon Neuroscience Research Center (CRNL) in the Fundamental Epileptology Laboratory from June to October 2023. He also worked as an SFR Mobile Call Centre Technician at Intelcia Call Center, Casablanca, from January to September 2018. In addition, he completed an internship at the Medical Analysis Laboratory at “Panoramique” Laboratory, Casablanca, in October 2017, where he participated in and handled various techniques used for routine medical analyses. Furthermore, he had an internship at the Biology and Health Laboratory in Cell Culture and Cytopathology at Ben M’Sik Faculty of Sciences from February to June 2017.

Scientific Participations & Contributions:

Mr. El Bachir HAJJI has actively contributed to scientific discussions and research in the field of epilepsy, presenting his work at various international conferences. His oral communications include “Attitudes of epileptic patients towards epilepsy surgery in Morocco: a descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study” at the 6th Moroccan Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology in Marrakesh, Morocco, in November 2022, and “Psychiatric comorbidities in epilepsy in Morocco: a cross-sectional and analytical study” at the XIth International Congress of Epidemiology and Public Health in Quebec, Canada, in August 2022. Additionally, he presented a posted communication titled “Drug-Resistant Epilepsy in Casablanca-Settat Region, Morocco: A Cross-Sectional Study” at the 14th European Epilepsy Congress (ILAE) in Geneva, Switzerland, in July 2022. Another posted communication, “Drug-Resistant Epilepsy in Morocco: About Of 92 Cases at Ibn Rochd University Hospital in Casablanca,” received the Best Poster Prize at the 5th Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology – 35th Annual Congress of the Moroccan League Against Epilepsy in Marrakech, Morocco, in November 2021.
