Since July 2009, she has served as a teacher and researcher at the School of Resource and Geosciences, China University of Mining and Technology. Her commitment to academic excellence led her to a visiting scholar position at Monash University, Australia, from December 2012 to November 2013, where she worked with the Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Engineering Research Group in the Department of Civil Engineering. Prior to her current position, Dr. Hao held a post-doctoral researcher role in the Department of Geotechnical Engineering at Tongji University, China, from July 2007 to July 2009. Her early career included serving as a senior high school physics teacher at Putuo 3rd Middle School in Zhejiang Province, China, from August 1998 to August 2002.
