Dr. Eleftherios G. Manousakis is a researcher in Operations Research and Quantitative Decision Sciences, specializing in mathematical optimization, transportation systems, and logistics management. He earned his Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), where his doctoral work focused on advanced optimization methods for integrated problems in transportation, inventory, and production routing. He also holds an MSc in Computer Science with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh, specializing in Machine Learning, and a top-ranked BSc in Management Science and Technology from AUEB. Dr. Manousakis has established a strong research record, with multiple publications in high-impact, ABS-ranked international journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, Expert Systems with Applications, and the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. His scientific contributions include novel exact and matheuristic optimization frameworks for complex logistics problems, including Inventory Routing Problems (IRP), Production Routing Problems (PRP), Set Orienteering Problems, and airport slot allocation. His work has been cited by scholars globally, reflecting its methodological depth and practical relevance.
