Elif Kaya Çelik completed her Bachelor of Arts in Biology with honors at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, from 1989 to 1992. She further pursued her Master of Science at the same institute from 1992 to 1995. Her master’s thesis, titled “Biochemical characterization and pattern of expression of fibroblast growth factor R1 (FGFR1) soluble receptor (SR),” was conducted with honors and contributed significantly to her field of study.

Between 2022 and 2024, she served as an Assistant Professor, contributing significantly to the field.
