Dr. Lucas Oliva completed his Doctorate in Geological Sciences in 2022 at the Faculty of Exact, Physical, and Natural Sciences of the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. His thesis was titled “Geomorphometry of the Fueguian Cordillera, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina: analysis of Pleistocene glacial relief” (446 pp), and it was supervised by Dr. Jorge O. Rabassa (CONICET, Ushuaia) and Dr. Marcela A. Cioccale (National University of Córdoba), receiving an outstanding grade (10/10). He also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Geology in 2010 from the same university, with his final project titled “Characterization and interpretation of lithic breccia deposits of Volcán Chimpa, Province of Salta,” which also received an outstanding grade (10/10).

- Pan American Silver Argentina S.A.: He was responsible for drilling and geotechnical logging at the Navidad Mining Project in Chubut Province, Argentina in September.
- Golder Associates Argentina S.A.: He was in charge of drilling and geotechnical logging at the Don Nicolás and La Paloma Mining Projects (owned by Minera IRL) in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina from July to August.
- Ausenco Vector: He worked as an independent consulting geologist responsible for drilling and geotechnical logging at the El Tranquilo mining project (owned by Patagonia Gold Plc) in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina from April to May.
