MD Zahidul Islam is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering at the School of Material Science and Engineering, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Hangzhou, China, where he has been engaged in cutting-edge research since September 2020. Prior to this, he earned a Master of Science in Textile Engineering from the School of Material Science & Textile, Silk Institute, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, graduating in April 2020 with notable research on graphene-based textiles for electromagnetic interference shielding. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Knitwear Manufacturer & Technology at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he achieved a CGPA of 3.65/4.00. His foundational education includes a Higher Secondary Certificate from Dr. Abul Hossain College and a Secondary School Certificate from Ramdia B.M.B.C High School, laying a strong academic foundation for his advanced studies and research career.
MD Zahidul Islam has accumulated diverse professional experience in various roles. Since June 2023, he has been serving as a Senior Foreign Trade Executive at Zhejiang Xingu New Materials Technology Company Limited, where he leads a team, develops marketing strategies, and manages customer accounts. Prior to this, he worked as a Marketing Executive at Zaber & Zubair Fabrics Limited in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from April 2020 to August 2022, focusing on customer development and order management. His role as a Foreign Trade Executive at Hangzhou Haina Environmental Protection Co. Ltd. involved overseeing marketing strategies and ensuring smooth transactions. Additionally, he gained valuable research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and served as an Assistant Marketing Executive at Zaber & Zubair Fabrics Limited. His early roles equipped him with skills in marketing, research, and trade management.
