Prof. Dr. Mike Sabeti has a robust educational background, including an Advanced Education in Endodontic from the University of Southern California from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, he pursued Advanced Education in Periodontology at Tufts School of Dental Medicine from 1993 to 1995. He earned his DDS from the University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston, where he studied from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, he holds an MA in English Literature from PVA&M University, which he completed from 1987 to 1989. His academic journey began at San Jacinto Jr. College, where he pursued Predental studies from 1987 to 1989, laying the foundation for his subsequent achievements in the field of dentistry.

Position Held:

Since 2017, Prof. Dr. Mike Sabeti has been serving as the Post-Graduate Endodontic Director at UCSF, where he also holds the position of HS Clinical Professor since 2019. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2019, he worked as an HS Associate Clinical Professor at UCSF’s PRDS. Earlier in his career, from 2013 to 2016, he held the role of Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University, where he contributed to the Department of Endodontics & Department of Periodontics. Dr. Mike Sabeti’s expertise spans virology, microbiology, bone regeneration, resorption, and dental implantology, reflecting a diverse range of interests in the field of dentistry. In his clinical role, he is responsible for patient care in the Post-graduate Endodontic clinic, where he provides comprehensive dental care for three and a half days per week. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in educating and supervising six Endodontic residents, overseeing their daily activities, surgical and presentation cases, as well as root canal treatment (RCT) cases. Dr. Sabeti plans to continue these clinical activities, demonstrating a long-term commitment to both patient care and education in the field of endodontics.
