Professional Profiles:
EDUCATION:
My academic journey has been characterized by a profound engagement with the rich tapestry of English literature and language. I achieved the pinnacle of academic success in my pursuit of a Master of Arts in English Literature at the University of Semnan from 2013 to 2015, culminating in a distinction. The coursework spanned from Chaucer’s era to the modern period, encompassing the literary contributions of luminaries such as Chaucer, Shakespeare, Dickens, Austen, and various other writers. My MA dissertation, titled ‘Lessons that Great Britain Learnt in the Works of Captain Frederick Marryat,’ reflected my scholarly exploration of significant themes within British literature.
Prior to this, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature with distinction from Azad University of Sari between 2008 and 2012. The program offered comprehensive courses in Shakespearean and Victorian Studies, supplemented by a focus on English language and linguistics. This foundational experience laid the groundwork for my subsequent academic pursuits and deepened my understanding of the diverse facets of English literature and language.
Complementing my higher education, I also attained a Diploma in English Language with distinction from the Iran Language Institute during the period 2004 to 2007. This diploma not only equipped me with a nuanced understanding of English language teaching but also provided valuable experience in instructing students ranging from twelve to eighteen years old.
RESEARCH SKILLS:
My expertise extends deep into the realms of literary scholarship, particularly focusing on the works of Captain Marryat and Jane Austen. Having immersed myself in Captain Marryat’s extensive repertoire, I’ve delved into all his works and essays, allowing me to respond comprehensively to any inquiries related to this esteemed literary figure. Additionally, my literary endeavors extend to the realm of Jane Austen, where my book “Pride and Prejudice” has been published by the University of Semnan, showcasing my commitment to contributing to the academic discourse on Austen’s timeless works.
In recognition of my dedication and impactful contributions, I was honored in 2019 as the best researcher among Iranian academic staff for my book on Austen and Marryat. This accolade serves as a testament to the depth and significance of my research within the academic community.
FUNDING FROM OTHER SOURCES:
My academic journey has been further enriched by the recognition and support I received through prestigious scholarships during my pursuit of higher education. As a recipient of the Master of Arts Studentship at the University of Semnan from 2013 to 2015, I was one of the fortunate four students selected through a rigorous interview process in the literary fields. This esteemed studentship not only provided financial assistance but also served as a testament to my dedication and proficiency in the realm of literature.
During my undergraduate studies at Azad University of Sari from 2008 to 2012, I was honored to be awarded the Bachelor of Arts Scholarship. This scholarship, granted to top-performing students, not only acknowledged my academic excellence but also fueled my enthusiasm for learning and scholarly pursuits. The recognition as a top student further motivated me to excel in my studies and contribute meaningfully to the academic community.
