Prof Dr Valdi Lima Júnior is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in academia. He is currently serving as a Member of the Advisory Committee at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) since 2019, where he also holds the position of Coordinator of the Animal Science Course, a role he has fulfilled since 2018. Additionally, he has been an Adjunct Professor I at UFRN since 2011, contributing to various academic activities. Prior to his tenure at UFRN, Prof Dr Valdi Lima Júnior served as a Full Professor at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) from 2008 to 2011, where he also coordinated the Postgraduate Program in Sustainable Management of the Semiarid. He completed his Doctoral Thesis Project at the University of Paraíba (UFPB) from 2007 to 2010. Prof Dr Valdi Lima Júnior’s commitment to academia is further demonstrated by his collaboration with Lanila Administration and Participation Ltda (LANILA) as a Collaborator from 2000 to 2001, where he was involved in the nutritional and reproductive management of animals. Additionally, he interned at the Brazilian Association of Goat Breeders (ABCC) in 2002, further enriching his professional experience in the field.
