During this time, she focused on the Department of Electrical Engineering. Her academic journey includes a Ph.D. from South China University of Technology (SCUT), where she majored in Power System and Its Automation from September 2011 to December 2015. Dr. Chen received the First-class Scholarship of SCUT during her Ph.D. studies. Prior to her Ph.D., she completed her Master of Engineering in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, also at SCUT, where she was awarded the First-class Scholarship. Dr. Chen began her academic pursuits with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Linyi University (LNU), where she received the First-class Scholarship of LYU, graduating in July 2010.

Academic Research:

Dr. Jiajia Chen has been involved in several research projects focusing on various aspects of power systems and energy management. One of her projects, funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant 52377110), explores a user-side multi-decentralized bidirectional power resource aggregation mechanism and cooperative control. The project aims to evaluate credible capacity and state of energy for generalized energy storage under multiple uncertainties, as well as cooperative control of multiple dispersed bidirectional power resources considering active-reactive coupling. She has also worked on the research project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant 51807112) focusing on multi-time scale stability and optimal control of flexible DC distribution systems. This project involves research on algorithm design for the optimal control of flexible DC distribution systems. Another project, funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant 51707109), involves research on the topology method of enhanced voltage stability online power grid considering uncertainty and contingency set. The aim is to improve the stability of renewable power systems through the theoretical basis and design of an uncertain optimization model and algorithm.
