Research Interests 🔬

Dr. Wondimu Gudu Jeldu has been deeply involved in various pivotal project activities aimed at advancing maternal health care and developing critical guidelines and training materials. Notable contributions include the preparation of a comprehensive Training Manual on Female Genital Mutilation for Health Care Providers in 2016, which was facilitated by the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH). He also played a significant role in the revision of the BEmONC Training Manual as a second consultant in 2018 and contributed to the development of the National Protocol on Obstetrics and Gynecology for Hospitals and Health Centers from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, he has been instrumental in creating guidelines for Grouped Antenatal Care and the National Reproductive Health Strategy in 2020. His recent work includes leading the development of the Basic US Training Manual for Mid-Level Health Professionals in 2023 and overseeing the EMOTIVE project, focusing on the PPH Bundle Approach. His contributions extend to task shifting in the point of care for GBV survivors and developing various protocols and guidelines for managing preeclampsia and preconception care.
