Dr. PeiJian Shi specializes in the development of prototype materials for critical applications, with a focus on high-entropy alloys, Al and Cu alloys, and cryogenic steels. His work involves microstructure design through thermomechanical processing, directional solidification, and bioinspired hierarchical structures. He conducts mechanical characterizations using various tests such as tensile, compressive, impact, nano-indentation, three-point bending, and LUR tests.
