She obtained her Ph.D. in Oral Medicine from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Dentistry, and her Master’s degree in Oral Medicine, Periodontology, and Oral Diagnosis from the same institution. Her Ph.D. thesis focused on the efficacy of Glutamine in managing radiation-induced mucositis in patients with head and neck cancer, conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Suzan Seif Allah Ibrahim and Dr. Hadeel Gamal. For her Master’s thesis, Dr. Hassanein conducted a randomized clinical trial on the use of hyaluronic acid hydrogels for interdental papilla augmentation, supervised by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sherif El Mofty, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd El Aziz, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ramadan Abd El Megid. Additionally, Dr. Hassanein holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from Ain Shams University.

Dr. Fatma Hassanein’s education includes a Ph.D. in Oral Medicine from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Dentistry, obtained from March 2021 until now. Her Master’s degree in Oral Medicine, Periodontology, and Oral Diagnosis was completed from September 2013 to August 2018 at the same institution. Dr. Hassanein also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from Ain Shams University, obtained in 2010.
