Dr. Samira Mavaddati’s research interests encompass a wide range of topics in the field of electronics engineering and signal processing. She is particularly interested in dictionary learning-based methods, sparse representation techniques, and compressive sensing. Her research also focuses on speech processing, enhancement, and recognition, as well as biomedical signal processing. Additionally, she is involved in research on image processing, voice or music processing, blind source separation approaches, and the application of soft computing, evolutionary computing, and swarm-based algorithms. Dr. Mavaddati is also interested in single-objective optimization and multi-objective optimization methods, artificial intelligence, artificial neural networks, machine vision, and fuzzy logic.

Teaching Experience:

Dr. Samira Mavaddati has extensive experience teaching various courses in electronics engineering. She has taught courses such as digital signal processing, engineering mathematics, basic electrical engineering, communication systems, signals and systems, logic circuit, electrical circuits lab, and logic circuit-computer architecture lab. Since 2016, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Mazandaran, Babolsar, Iran. As a teacher assistant at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, from 2012 to 2013, Dr. Mavaddati taught the speech processing course for MSc students.
