His doctoral concentrations were in Genetics, Epigenetics, and Bioinformatics. He also earned an M.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Fujian Medical University in 2015, focusing on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Furthermore, he completed his B.A. in Biotechnology from Qingdao Agricultural University in 2012.
