Prior to this, in September 2017, G C was promoted to Assistant Professor at the College of Development Studies, Oromia State University, Ethiopia. G C completed a Masters of Art in Rural Development from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, India, between July 2008 and June 2013. Additionally, G C pursued a Masters of Art in Leadership and Good Governance from Ethiopia Civil Service University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from September 2011 to July 2013. G C obtained a BA in Economics from Ethiopian Civil Service University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, between September 2001 and August 2004. G C’s educational journey began with a Primary School Teachers Course at Nekemte Training Institute (TTI), Oromia, Ethiopia, from September 1992 to November 1993. In April 2013, G C took part in a Result-Based Management (RBM) training offered by UNICEF in Batu Town, Oromia, Ethiopia. Additionally, in October 2012, G C completed an Environmental Management and Audit training offered for five days by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Since November 10, 2020, G C has been working as the Fiscal Issues and Regions’ Balanced Development Research Director in the House of Federation of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Prior to this role, from January 2017 to October 2017, G C served as the Vice President and Head of Academic Affairs at Oromia State University in Batu Town, Oromia, Ethiopia. From January 2015 to January 2017, G C held the position of Vice Director and Head of Academic Affairs at the Public Service College of Oromia, also in Batu Town, Oromia, Ethiopia. Between 2009 and 2012 G.C was a Member of the Regional Technical Team Coaching on public sector reform, and from 2005 to 2008 G.C was an Instructor, Training Department Head, and Research Department Head, as well as a Trainer at the Public Service College of Oromia, which is the current Oromia State University.
