Similarly, in 2019-2020, Dr. Tibebe served as the PI for the UoG Mega project on the Treatment and Characterization of Tannery and Textile Industrial effluents in Amhara regional States, employing the Electrocoagulation Process with Aluminium electrodes. Another completed project, from 2020 to 2021, involved the Detection and Characterization of potential Hormone Disrupting Chemicals in Water and Fish Samples in the Amhara National Regional State Lakes, where Dr. Tibebe again acted as the PI. As a Co-PI from 2018 to 2021, Dr. Tibebe contributed to the Investigation on the quality, post-harvest processing, and production site of coffee in West, Central, and North Gondar Zones, Ethiopia. Dr. Tibebe also served as a Co-PI from 2018 to 2020 for the UoG Mega project, focusing on the Effects of Waste effluent from Gondar Town on the Downstream Community and its impact on Ecological and Limnological properties of Waste Receiver Rivers in the Central Gondar Zone, Amara, Ethiopia.
