Assoc Prof Dr. Neşe Kaya began her professional journey as a dietician at the State Hospital in Aksaray, Turkey, where she worked from 2007 to 2009. She then briefly served as a dietician at the State Hospital in Ayvalık-Balıkesir, Turkey, in 2009. Transitioning to academia, Dr. Kaya joined the Faculty of Health Sciences at Erciyes University in Kayseri, Turkey, as a lecturer in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics from 2009 to 2014. She was subsequently promoted to assistant professor at the same institution, a position she held from 2014 to 2021. Since 2021, Dr. Kaya has been an assistant professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Nuh Naci Yazgan University, also in Kayseri, Turkey. In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Kaya has held several administrative roles. She has served as the Nutrition and Dietetic Departmental Coordinator for the Erasmus Programme, the Head of the Assessment and Evaluation Commission of the Nutrition and Dietetic Department, and has been a member of both the Faculty Board and the Academic Board.
