Following this, he pursued a Master of Science in Business Administration at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in Italy, graduating in 2019. Dr. Nguar furthered his education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management from the University of Rome – Tor Vergata, where he conducted research under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Bonomi Savignon, a distinguished Professor of Management. Dr. Nguar’s research focused on Economics and Policy Evaluation, leading to the completion of his PhD in 2023. Concurrently, he also pursued a Master of Science in Economics and Policy Evaluation at the University of Rome – Sapienza, enhancing his expertise in the field. Dr. Nguar’s academic journey reflects his dedication to advancing his knowledge and skills in economics and management, positioning him as a valuable asset in the field.

Dr. Kot David Adhal Nguar has held several significant roles in the field of research and policy analysis, showcasing his expertise and commitment to advancing knowledge in economics and education. From October 2021 to March 2023, he served as a Research Associate (Non-Resident) at the University of Sussex, working on “The Political Economy of Education Research,” funded by GCRF-UKRI. During this time, Dr. Nguar was responsible for project budgeting, fieldwork budgetary processes, and overseeing the overall project fund. He collaborated with academics, policymakers, and practitioners to analyze current approaches to education policy’s political economy. Additionally, he developed critical and locally grounded approaches to Political Economy Analysis of education, with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, and produced synthesized research reports merging quantitative and qualitative information.
