Eyob Hirpa Tola has an extensive background in academia and research, serving as a Lecturer and Senior Researcher at Raya University in Raya, Ethiopia, since August 1, 2023. In this role, he advises on Mega-research at the college level, guides undergraduate students, coordinates the GIS team at the university level, conducts community services, and reviews and edits geospatial projects and research. At Jimma University, Eyob advised, examined, and lectured postgraduate GIS students and undergraduate geography stream students, coordinated the GIS team at the college level, engaged in the Development Team Training Program, conducted community services, and reviewed and edited geospatial projects and research.
