Professional Profiles:
Education:
Experience:
In his primary research work, Mr. Rahul Sharma conducted screenings of FDA-approved drugs using computational and biophysical methods against essential enzymes of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Selected compounds from this screening were then tested for their inhibitory potential on the virulent strain Mtb-H37Rv under both in-vitro and ex-vivo conditions. In his secondary research work, Mr. Sharma focused on immunoinformatics to design a vaccine construct aimed at preventing and treating Mycobacterium tuberculosis infections. This vaccine construct was designed based on the analysis of secretory exosomes antigens of the pathogen, with the goal of developing a preventive therapeutic approach against tuberculosis.
