Dr. Mohamed Mubarak’s academic journey began with his graduation from Al Mustansiriya College of Medicine in Baghdad, Republic of Iraq, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) in 2005. Prior to that, he completed his secondary education at Isa Town Secondary School in 1999. This strong educational foundation has enabled Dr. Mubarak to pursue specialized training and fellowships in neurosurgery, leading to his current role as a Fellow in Spine Surgery at the University Hospital North Midlands in the United Kingdom.

Post Graduation Qualifications:

Dr. Mohamed Mubarak has a robust background in neurosurgery with extensive postgraduate training. In 2006, he completed a one-year internship at the Salmaniya Medical Complex in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr. Mubarak furthered his expertise with specialized fellowships, including a Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery Fellowship at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, a Fellowship in Spine Surgery at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore, Republic of India, and an AO Global Spine Diploma. He obtained the Arab Board of Neurosurgery in 2016 and the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MRCSI) in 2009. Currently, Dr. Mubarak serves as a Fellow in Spine Surgery at the University Hospital North Midlands in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Eman Toraih is currently serving as a Research Project Manager in the Endocrine Division of the Surgery Department at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, USA, a position she has held since February 2020. In addition to this role, she is an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Surgery at the same institution, a position she has held since November 2019. Prior to her current positions, Dr. Toraih was an Assistant Professor in Medical Genetics at the Genetics Unit of Suez Canal University School of Medicine in Ismailia, Egypt, starting from June 2019. She previously held the position of Head of the Molecular lab at the Centre of Excellence in Molecular and Cellular Medicine at Suez Canal University from May 2015 to October 2019. Before that, she served as a Lecturer of Medical Genetics (June 2014 – May 2019), Assistant Lecturer of Medical Genetics (May 2008 – June 2014), and Demonstrator of Medical Genetics (June 2004 – May 2008) at the same institution. Dr. Toraih began her career as a Physician (General Practitioner) at Suez Canal University Hospitals in Ismailia, Egypt, where she worked from March 2003 to February 2004.
