Reza Moalefshahri is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hakim Sabzevari University, focusing on Nonlinear vibration and FGM. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering – Applied Design from Azad University of Mashhad, where he graduated as the top student of the major. His thesis, titled “Optimizing and Sensitivity Analysis of System Equipped with Nonlinear Dependent Velocity and Displacement Damper,” focused on developing a new nonlinear displacement-velocity-dependent (NDVD) damper considering momentum variation to improve system response. Reza also earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering – Solid Mechanics from Quchan University of Technology, with a thesis titled “Investigation and Calculation Young’s Module of Mechanical Properties of Nanotube by Numerical Simulation.”

Work Experience:

Reza Moalefshahri currently serves as the Head of R&D and DCC at Afra Vandad Iranian, where he has been since 2024. In this role, he is responsible for leading research and development efforts and overseeing the Design and Construction Control department. Prior to his current position, Reza worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the Designing and Manufacturing Department at Taha Ghaleb Toos from 2020 to 2023. In this role, he focused on designing and manufacturing mechanical systems, with an emphasis on reverse engineering and fixtures using software. His projects included reverse engineering pelletizing systems for polymer production, designing and manufacturing welding fixtures, and developing automation systems. Reza’s expertise in software such as SOLIDWORKS, LS-DYNA, and MATLAB was instrumental in the success of these projects.

Reza Moalefshahri’s research interests include Vibration and Control, CAD/CAM, Programming, Machine learning, and Modelling, Simulating, Analysis (Static, Dynamic, Vibration, Thermal).
