Manuel completed a Master’s in “Mediation and Family Guidance” at UNED in 2005, followed by a Master’s in “Human Rights, Development, and Interculturality” from Universidad Internacional de Andalucía in 2012 and a Master’s in “Social Sciences and Social Intervention” from Universidad Pablo de Olavide in 2013. He earned his Ph.D. in Social Sciences from Universidad Pablo de Olavide in 2019 with a thesis on social work and theatrical collective creation, achieving a Cum Laude distinction. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centro de Estudos Sociais, Universidad de Coimbra, from 2021 to 2023.
