Dr. Ridha Hassaine completed his Baccalauréat in 2001 at Lycée BOUMECHRA Miloud Imema in Tlemcen, Algeria, with a focus on the Science Naturel et Vie (SNV) series. Following that, he obtained his Diplôme d’Etude Supérieur (D.E.S) in Chemistry from the University Aboubekr-Belkaid in Tlemcen in 2006. He then pursued his Magister degree in Applied Organic Chemistry at the same university and graduated in 2009. Continuing his academic journey, he completed his Doctorate in Applied Organic Chemistry at the University Aboubekr-Belkaid in Tlemcen in 2016. In 2020, he obtained his Habilitation universitaire from the DGRSDT-CNEC at the Centre de recherche CRAPC in Sciences fondamentales.
Experience:
Magister’s Thesis: Title: Synthesis of derivatives of 1,4-di-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoyl) piperazine substituted at position 2. Doctoral Thesis: Title: Synthesis of derivatives of chromones, pyrazoles, and spirolactones. Biological activity. He also participated in a 5-day seminar on seawater and brackish water desalination technologies from June 28 to July 2, 2008, in Oran. The seminar was organized by The Algerian National Oil Company SONATRACH in collaboration with the Middle East Desalination Research Center (Muscat, Sultanate of Oman). Furthermore, he completed a 30-day high-level scientific internship and stay at the Laboratory of Molecular and Thio-organic Chemistry (LCMT), ENSICAEN & University of Caen, from May 15 to June 15, 2011.
