  • In 1998, he obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Moscow State Technical University named after Bauman (MSTU) in Moscow.
  • In 1995, he earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, also from MSTU in Moscow.
  • In 1991, Dr. Song received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Yonsei University in Seoul.

He has extensive research experience and instructional knowledge in nonlinear dynamics and the intelligent control of nonlinear systems, gained through his work at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory he established at KMITL. His recent research has focused on forward and inverse problems using physics-informed neural networks. Additionally, Dr. Song has a keen interest in multimodal analysis, particularly in the fusion of audio and image data.
