In 1998, he obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Moscow State Technical University named after Bauman (MSTU) in Moscow.
In 1995, he earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, also from MSTU in Moscow.
In 1991, Dr. Song received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Yonsei University in Seoul.

Dr. Weon Keun Song has a diverse professional background: 🏫 Since 2021, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of RAI Engineering at the School of Engineering, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. 🎓 From 2019 to 2021, Dr. Song worked as a Full-Time Lecturer at SIIE, School of Engineering, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. 🔧 In the period from 2016 to 2019, he was a Visiting Professor in Mechatronics at the Asian Institute of Technology. 📚 During 2013 to 2014, Dr. Song worked as a Math & Physics Teacher at the Waldorf School. 💼 From 2009 to 2012, he was involved in Private Business. 🔬 Prior to that, from 1999 to 2008, Dr. Song served as a Senior Engineer and Project Manager at Korea Infrastructure Safety & Technology Corp. He has extensive research experience and instructional knowledge in nonlinear dynamics and the intelligent control of nonlinear systems, gained through his work at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory he established at KMITL. His recent research has focused on forward and inverse problems using physics-informed neural networks. Additionally, Dr. Song has a keen interest in multimodal analysis, particularly in the fusion of audio and image data.
