Dr. Shamim Gul is a dedicated researcher with a strong background in soil ecology and plant population ecology. In 2012, Dr. Gul earned a Ph.D. from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The focus of their dissertation was on the “Influence of Genetically Modified Cell Wall Mutants on Carbon Dioxide and Nitrous Oxide Emissions from Soil: A Study with Arabidopsis thaliana.” Prior to this, in 2008, Dr. Gul completed an M.Phil. in Plant Population Ecology at the University of Balochistan in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. Their thesis titled “Regeneration Ecology of Seriphidium quettense in Highland Balochistan, Pakistan” reflects their expertise and interest in the ecological dynamics of plant populations.
