Dr. Ibtissem Missaoui has an impressive academic background in finance. She earned her Ph.D. in Finance from the Higher Institute of Management of Sousse/Tunisia in 2022, focusing on “The impact of financial and institutional development on the cost of capital: Empirical validation on the Tunis Stock Exchange (BVMT).” Her research was supervised by Professors Jaleleddine Ben Rejeb and Aymen Ben Rejeb. Prior to her Ph.D., she obtained a Master’s degree in Finance in 2015 from the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sousse. Dr. Missaoui also holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance: financial engineering and markets, obtained in 2012 from the Higher Institute of Management of Sousse, and a Baccalaureate degree in Management Sciences and Economics, obtained in 2009.

Dr. Ibtissem Missaoui has a significant teaching background in finance. She has served as a Lecturer at the Higher Institute of Management of Sousse, Tunisia, in the academic years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. Additionally, she taught finance at the Higher Institute of Applied Studies in Humanities of Sbeïtla, Tunisia, in the academic years 2023/2024, 2020/2021, 2019/2020, 2018/2019, 2017/2018, and 2016/2017. Dr. Missaoui also worked as a Lecturer at the Higher Institute of Technological Studies Kasserine, Tunisia, in the academic years 2020/2021 and 2019/2020. Furthermore, she served as a coach and facilitator in financial and accounting techniques for entrepreneurs and cooperative companies at the Association for the Advancement of Rural Women in Kasserine, Tunisia, in the academic year 2021/2022.
