Dr. Theodoros Chrysanidis has a diverse professional background, starting with his work in a private consulting and construction company from April to September 2004. Here, he was involved in supervising and monitoring construction works in reinforced concrete structures, managing materials, organizing construction sites, and monitoring project economics. From June to December 2006, Dr. Chrysanidis worked at the private consulting and construction company E.M.BI.K. S.A., focusing on static and dynamic analyses of steel industrial buildings and supervising projects in all phases of construction. Since 2005, he has been involved in consulting and supervising private technical projects and, since 2006, has been estimating real estate commercial values as an External Estimator at the Commercial Bank of Greece. Dr. Chrysanidis has also been teaching as an adjunct Lecturer at Universities and Technological Educational Institutes since 2012 and carrying out energy inspections as an Energy Inspector since 2013.

In this capacity, my responsibilities include active participation as a member in syllabus revision and question bank updating processes. I am also involved in the Continuous Assessment Test committee and the Library Advisory committee. Additionally, He play a key role as a panel member in Ph.D. scholar interviews and serve as the In-Charge of the computational facility.  He teaching portfolio encompasses various subjects for M.Tech (Structural Engineering) and B.Tech (Civil Engineering) students, covering topics such as Design of Bridges, Earthquake Resistant Design of Structures, Pre-stressed Concrete, Advanced Structural Analysis, Advanced Concrete Technology, Design of Steel Structures, Structural Dynamics, Basics of Structural Design, Transportation Engineering, and Technical Answers for Real World Problems (TARP).

Prior to He tenure at VIT, He worked as an Assistant Professor at Karunya University from August 2016 to May 30, 2017. During this period, He served as the Convenor for syllabus revision, question bank updating, and organized technical events. He was also the Co-ordinator for industry-academia interactive sessions and the Paper presentation session for “Polytekfest 2017.” He teaching responsibilities included subjects in M.Tech (Structural Engineering) and B.Tech (Civil Engineering), focusing on Design of Hydraulic Structures, Applied Hydraulics and Hydraulic Machinery, and Water Resources Engineering. Additionally, He managed various laboratories for B.Tech students, including Computer Application Laboratory, Fluid Mechanics and Machinery Laboratory, and Strength of Materials Laboratory.
