Professional Profiles:

Education:

He earned  Ph.D. in Offshore Structures (Ocean Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Chennai, in 2016, with an impressive score of 7.77. Prior to that, He completed Master’s in Structural Engineering (M.E) from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Annamalai University in 2004, achieving a commendable score of 7.87. He academic journey began with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (B.E) from Adhi Parasakthi Engineering College, University of Madras, where He graduated with a solid performance, securing 67%, in the year 1999.

Ongoing Research:

He currently engaged in diverse and cutting-edge research endeavors, exploring various aspects of civil and structural engineering. His ongoing research spans a range of topics, including the development and application of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), the optimization of High Performance Concrete (HPC), and the exploration of innovative techniques such as 3D Printed Concrete (3DPC). Furthermore, he research extends into the realm of precast construction, specifically focusing on the beam-to-beam connections in precast structures. I am also delving into the design and implementation of a full-depth shear key joint for adjacent reinforced box girder bridges, aiming to enhance the structural integrity and performance of these critical components of transportation infrastructure. In addition, he research portfolio encompasses the development of an ultra-high-strength longitudinal trapezoidal rib-deck joint for Orthotropic Steel Deck (OSD) bridges. This work aims to advance the durability and load-bearing capabilities of OSD bridges, contributing to the evolution of bridge engineering practices.
