Dr. Amel Ahmed Hassan Mohammed is a dedicated and accomplished professional in the field of nursing and health sciences, with a strong focus on community health nursing and health profession education. She has a rich academic background, including a PhD in Community Health Nursing from the University of Khartoum, Sudan, and a Master’s degree in Community Health Nursing from Gezira University, Sudan. Dr. Mohammed’s expertise lies in curriculum development, research methodology, biostatistics, and leadership in nursing education. Throughout her career, Dr. Mohammed has held various academic and research positions, including Assistant Professor at Alzaiem Al-Alazhari University in Sudan and lecturer at several universities in Sudan. She has also been actively involved in research supervision, having supervised numerous Bachelor’s and Master’s research projects, as well as two PhD research projects. Dr. Mohammed is a prolific researcher, with 23 published papers in peer-reviewed journals and four manuscripts under publication. She serves on the editorial boards of four international peer-reviewed journals and acts as a reviewer for five international journals. Dr. Mohammed is also a member of several professional associations, including the Sudan Medical Specialization Board Nursing Council, where she is actively involved in various committees.
