Dr. Rashmi Kumari holds the following educational qualifications: Bachelor of Architecture (Gold medalist) from NIT Patna; Master of Urban and Rural Planning from IIT Roorkee; and Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee. She completed her Ph.D. in 2016 from IIT Roorkee, her postgraduate degree in Urban and Rural Planning in 2011 from IIT Roorkee with a CGPA of 8.28, and her undergraduate degree in Architecture in 2009 from NIT Patna with a CGPA of 8.66. Rashmi Kumari completed her Twelfth Class from Anugrah Narayan College, Patna, in 2002 with 57.78%, and her Tenth Class from High School Phulwari Sharif, Patna, in 2000 with 62.00%.

Teaching Experience:

Dr. Rashmi Kumari has accumulated valuable teaching experience over the years. She began her academic career as a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at NITH, where she taught from 17/11/2014 to 16/11/2015, gaining 12 months of experience. Subsequently, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at SMVDU from 02/03/2017 to 03/12/2018, amassing 21 months of experience. Currently, Dr. Kumari continues her teaching journey as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at NIT Hamirpur, a position she has held since 05/12/2018, totaling 62 months of teaching experience to date.

She served as the Assistant Warden at Ambika Girls Hostel from 25/03/2019 to 31/05/2020, ensuring the well-being and discipline of the residents. She participated in national seminars such as the National Seminar on Disaster Mitigation in Housing in India (HDMFA2010) and the National Seminar on Research Activities in Disaster Mitigation for Housing in India (HDMR09) held at IIT Roorkee in 2010 and 2009, respectively.
