Assoc Prof Dr. Shimaa Ramadan Emam has completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) in May 2008 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University, Egypt, with a very good honor grade. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Sciences (M.S.) in Pharmacology from the Department of Veterinary Pharmacology at Cairo University, Egypt, in May 2011. Their master’s dissertation was titled “Pharmacological studies on Silybum marianum and Marjorana hortensis plants.” They have also completed various courses with excellent grades, including Physiology, Metabolism, and Energy (0028), Special Bacteriology (0073), Advanced Biostatistics (00192), Methods of Research (00800), and Veterinary Pharmacology (0090).

Professional Experience:

Assoc Prof Dr. Shimaa Ramadan Emam has been an Associate Lecturer of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University, since 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Lecturer of Pharmacology at the same institution from 2015 to 2020. From 2008 to 2015, they worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt. Additionally, they held the position of Demonstrator at the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, from 2007 to 2008.

The 7th International Conference of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University (VETCU 2018), which focused on “One Health: Animal, Human, Environment Recent Applications,” held from August 5th to 8th, 2018. Assoc Prof Dr. Shimaa Ramadan Emam has significant experience in using various statistical programs, such as SPSS and pharmacokinetic programs. They also possess a wide range of technical skills, including expertise in techniques like High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrophotometry (HPLC-MS), Microbiological Assay, Spectrophotometry, and Ultrasonography.
