Her doctoral research focused on evaluating the response to salinity stress in the Pacific abalone (Haliotis discus hannai) and its interspecific hybrids. Prior to her Ph.D., she obtained a Master of Science in Fisheries Science from Pukyong National University, South Korea, specializing in Eco-friendly Application and Mass Production for Industrialization of polychaetes, from September 2014 to February 2016.
