Prior to his Ph.D., he pursued his M.S. in Paper Science and Engineering at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, from 2004 to 2007, where he was awarded a 100% scholarship. During this time, he worked under the guidance of Dr. Richard Gustafson, conducting research using X-ray micro-tomography to examine the 3-D structure of cambium. Dr. Yadav’s academic journey began with a B.Tech. in Pulp & Paper Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India, where he studied from 1996 to 2001.

Work Experience:

Dr. Sanjeev Yadav has a wealth of experience in academia and industry. He served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Shiv Nadar University for 4.5 years, where he contributed significantly to the department’s research and teaching activities. Prior to this role, he held the position of Assistant Professor in the same department for 6 years, further enhancing his expertise in the field. Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Yadav gained valuable industry experience, working for 3.5 years (from 1st March 2001 to 30th June 2004) in the paper and water treatment division of Kemira. During his time at Kemira, he held technical and senior technical executive roles, where he honed his skills in paper science and engineering, as well as water treatment technologies.
