I currently hold the position of Associate Professor at the College of Law, Afe Babalola University, a role I have held since 2021. In this capacity, I am responsible for teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. For undergraduate students, I teach courses such as Oil and Gas Law (LPI 507), Commercial Law (LPB 301), Constitutional Law (LPI 201), and Public International Law (PIL 503). In the postgraduate LL.M. program, I instruct on Law of Industrial and Intellectual Property I (LPB 835), Energy and Natural Resources Law 1 (LPI 827), International Trade and Investment Law (LPI 825), and Law of Secured Credit Transactions I (LPB 807). Prior to my current position, I served as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Elizade University, where I also held the role of Sub-Dean. During this time (2020-2021), I taught courses such as Legal Methods (PIL 102), Oil and Gas Law (JIL 503), and Jurisprudence and Legal Theory (PPL 502). Before joining Elizade University, I worked as a Lecturer 1 at Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria, from 2014 to 2020.

I am a qualified Barrister of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a Chartered Arbitrator with 13 years of experience. My expertise includes excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, as well as strong legal drafting abilities. I possess detailed knowledge of corporate governance and ethical issues. In terms of awards, I received the Federal Government Scholarship Award for the 2001/2002 session during my tertiary education, as well as the South Tomé Principe Joint Development Authority Scholarship Assistance Scheme for Post Graduate Students in 2011. Notably, I have received several awards during my tenure at Afe Babalola University, including the College of Law Best Lecturer Scopus Award (Founder Award) for the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 sessions, and the Afe Babalola University Law Students Society’s Lecturer Award of Mentorship & Excellence for the 2023 session. Additionally, I received The Green Club, Afe Babalola University Ado Ekiti, Award of Appreciation in the 2022 session and the Afe Babalola University Law Students Society’s Lecturer Award of Academic Scholarship & Inspiration to Law Students for the 2021/2022 session. I serve as a reviewer for several journals, including the International Journal for Quality Research, International Journal of Law and Conflicts Resolution, African Journal of Law, Ethics, and Education, and the Redeemers University, Faculty of Law Journal in Ede, Osun State. Currently, my salary and status/grade level are (N4,072,667.15) ABUASSS 5, Step 03A. If selected, I would be available for duty one month after the interview date.
