At Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Mr. Md Sadman Islam serves as an Assistant SAT Engineer in the Execution department, a role he has held since September 2022. His responsibilities include monitoring satellite telemetry in rotating shifts, developing, preparing, managing, and upgrading telemetry and telecommand views mimics, pages, contexts, and charts as per operational requirements. He also provides support and assistance during satellite orbit determination, maneuver computation, and other flight dynamics planning activities. Under the supervision of the Manager (SAT Engineer – Execution), he transmits commands defined in procedures, executes satellite on orbit control maneuvers, and performs nominal operations such as eclipse operation, periodic health checks, and nominal payload and tracking telemetry and control (TTC) – radio frequency (RF) operations, considering mission requirements and constraints. Additionally, he covers beam switching and configures payloads as per mission demands, performs asynchronous and non-periodic operations of the satellite, and conducts satellite ranging and tracking operations. Mr. Islam is also responsible for managing satellite data archives, logbooks, and alarms in CCWs, EICs, and OSCCL.

At Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Mr. Md Sadman Islam serves as a Research Assistant, a position he has held since February 2023. Additionally, in June 2008, she took on a summer job at Norske Skog Saugbrugs Halden in Norway, where she was involved in a project focusing on mechanical bleaching.
