Research Experience:

During his Post-doctoral Research Fellowship, Prof. AHM Nurun Nabi conducted research focusing on in vitro protein expression, protein-protein interactions using Nanobiotechnology techniques, and protein purification. He also gained expertise in cell culture techniques, including troubleshooting, and studied angiogenesis. His primary research interests centered on the functional studies of Renin, Prorenin, and (Pro)renin receptors, with a particular focus on the binding mechanisms of renin and prorenin to (pro)renin receptors. Additionally, he has extensive experience in protein purification, cell culture, and the expression of specific genes for functional studies on the cell membrane. This experience has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of cellular processes and molecular interactions. Prof. AHM Nurun Nabi’s research also extends to public health issues. He conducted research to determine the health status, including biochemical and cellular conditions, of garage workers. His work aimed to raise awareness among workers regarding possible health hazards associated with working in such environments. Furthermore, he has conducted research on human samples collected from arsenic-endemic regions. His research focused on the nutritional, biochemical, and immunological aspects of arsenic toxicity in the Bangladeshi population chronically exposed to arsenic through drinking water. Secondly, She study the effects of sex differences, both alone and in combination with a fatiguing task, on the physical and postural performance of MS patients. Additionally, She explore the impact of physical training on lung function, aerobic capacity, and metabolic adaptations in individuals living with MS.
