Dr. Dujiang Yang is currently pursuing his graduate studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Orthopedics and Traumatology) at Southwest Medical University (September 2023–June 2026). Despite being in training, he has already established an exceptionally prolific academic record, demonstrating strong research capability and outstanding scientific productivity. As the first author, he has published 43 English SCI-indexed papers, one Chinese Peking University Core article, several regular English journal papers, and additional Chinese publications. His cumulative SCI impact factor as first author has reached 264.5, reflecting both depth and influence in interdisciplinary biomedical research. His publications span top-tier journals including Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases (IF=20.6), Journal of Extracellular Vesicles (IF=14.5), Advanced Science (IF=14.3), Leukemia (IF=13.4), Cardiovascular Research (IF=13.2), Angiogenesis (IF=9.2), British Journal of Pharmacology (IF=7.7), and many others across fields such as immunology, degenerative diseases, oncology, tissue engineering, and stem cell therapies. His research interests are broad yet cohesive, focusing on molecular mechanisms of disease, regenerative medicine, biomaterials, single-cell analysis, and translational therapeutic strategies. In addition to research articles, he has also contributed multiple commentary papers in SCI journals, including a notable commentary in JAMA Network Open (IF=9.7). Beyond published work, Yang also has several manuscripts under review or accepted, including research utilizing multi-omics approaches, machine learning, network pharmacology, UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap-ESI-MS, and spatial transcriptomics, further demonstrating advanced methodological skills and translational vision. His work—ranging from tendon repair, osteoarthritis treatment, muscle regeneration, virology, to stem cell-based therapy—reflects a rare integration of modern biomedical science with traditional Chinese medicine perspectives. His roles include project design, experimental execution, and manuscript preparation. Dr. Aurore Sajust de Bergues de Escalup is a radiology resident specializing in advanced neuroimaging, thoracic imaging, and musculoskeletal diagnostic modalities, with a growing research portfolio in artificial intelligence–enhanced medical imaging. She is currently completing the advanced phase of her radiology residency at the Hôpital Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild, focusing on neuroradiology and head-and-neck imaging, while simultaneously advancing her research interests in biomedical image analysis and quantitative MRI. Dr. Sajust de Bergues de Escalup holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (BioImaging Specialization), awarded with honors, and completed at the PARCC laboratory (Inserm UMR 970). She was awarded the Année Recherche scholarship (ARS), supporting her contributions to translational imaging research. Her academic foundation includes competitive rankings in French national medical examinations (PACES rank: 52; ECN rank: 1227) and early international scientific exposure through her participation in the Biomed Research Academy at the University of Pennsylvania. Her recent peer-reviewed publications reflect an interdisciplinary approach combining clinical expertise and innovation. These include studies on synthetic MRI for optic nerve pathology, deep learning–based MRI reconstruction techniques, and CT phenotypes of interstitial lung disease in autoimmune disorders. Collectively, her work contributes to improving diagnostic accuracy, reducing scan times, and advancing precision imaging in ophthalmologic and thoracic conditions.
