Dr. Ahmed holds an M.A. in Public Policy & Administration from the Central University of Jammu, completed in 2017, a B.A. from the University of Jammu, completed in 2014, and completed his 12th grade from the J&K Board of School Education in 2010. He completed his 10th grade from the J&K Board of School Education in 2008.

Dr. Shafiq Ahmed specializes in Urban Governance, Administrative Theory, Financial Administration, and Public Policy. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration at Loyola Academy, Old Alwal, Secunderabad, Telangana, India, from June 1, 2023, onwards.
