His doctoral thesis focused on the “Assessment of ecological health status and socio-economic drivers of degradation in two southwestern estuarine systems of Ghana.” Throughout his Ph.D., Dr. Faseyi was actively involved in various research responsibilities, including sample collection for microplastics, benthic macroinvertebrates, particle size, heavy metals, nutrients, and physicochemical parameters. He also conducted laboratory analyses, data analysis, and contributed to the publication of manuscripts and presentation of papers in international conferences. Prior to his doctoral studies, Dr. Faseyi completed his Master of Science in Zoology (Ecology and Environmental Biology) at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, in December 2016.
