Research Project Activity:
Prof. Gholamreza Asadollahfardi has made significant contributions in the field of environmental research and management. His work includes a comprehensive study of the adsorption and accumulation of cadmium in various vegetables and fruits, with a subsequent modeling of cadmium in one of these specimens, completed in collaboration with the Power Ministry in July 2008. Additionally, he applied Artificial Neural Network techniques to predict salinity in the Vanier station of the Talekh river in Iran, also in partnership with the Power Ministry and completed in 2008. His expertise extends to analyzing surface water quality using Bayesian time series and assessing existing water quality stations in the Karoon River, both in collaboration with the Power Ministry. Prof. Asadollahfardi has also investigated the impact of the Latian Dam on the seismic conditions of the region, with this project being completed in July 2009 as part of his valuable contributions to environmental research and management efforts.
