Dr. Parastoo Majidian completed her Ph.D. in Plant Breeding-Genetic Engineering and Molecular Genetics from the Department of Plant Breeding at Sari University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, Iran, from 2012 to 2016. Her Ph.D. program comprised 2 years of a taught program, followed by a comprehensive examination and 2 years of research work. She achieved a GPA of 17.56 out of 20, ranking third among five students. Her thesis, titled “Evaluation of artificial regulation system in Bacillus subtilis in order to transcriptional control,” earned a score of 19.70 out of 20 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. H. Najafi Zarini and Prof. Dr. K.I. Yoshida. Earlier, she obtained her M.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering-Plant Biotechnology from the same university, following a similar program structure from 2009 to 2011. She secured a GPA of 17.46 out of 20 and her thesis on “Evaluation of genetic diversity of some apricot cultivars and genotypes using SSR and AFLP markers” received a score of 19.90 out of 20. Mr. Nanii Yenibehit has worked as a Researcher for the Access and Authority Nexus of Farmer – Herder Conflicts (ANN) Project in Tamale, Ghana, from 2021 to 2023. In this role, he developed research concepts, reviewed literature, planned and designed data collection instruments, recruited and trained enumerators for data collection, analyzed data, wrote reports on research activities, and drafted manuscripts for publication. He also worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, from October 2017 to January 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Isaac Abunyuwah. In this role, he developed research concepts, reviewed literature, assisted in designing and carrying out research, collected and analyzed data, and wrote reports on research. Additionally, Mr. Yenibehit served as a Zonal Supervisor for the Population and Housing Census (PHC) 2021 at the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) in Accra, Ghana. Mr. Nanii Yenibehit has been working as a Tutor (Lecturer) at the Animal Health and Production College, Pong-Tamale, Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA), Ghana, in Tamale, since 2019. His teaching areas include Introduction to Economics and Business Statistics, Agricultural Value Chain Analysis, Agricultural Finance, Animal Health Economics, and Project Planning and Appraisal. In this role, he lectures with an emphasis on the application of economic principles in Agriculture, value chains, and Animal Health, administers examinations and other assessment reports, supervises and gives diploma students directions on how to conduct research, supports students’ development academically and morally, reads and corrects theses while students are writing their thesis, conducts research on relevant topics, and publishes the same in reputable journals.
