From December 2022 to November 2023, Hassan Osman Hassan served as the Project Coordinator at the Somali Disaster Management Agency. In this role, he coordinated humanitarian assistance and protection activities in multiple camps or settlements, ensuring compliance with national and international environmental standards and legal frameworks. Hassan designed, implemented, monitored, and evaluated the Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) strategy, standards, contingency plans, and information management system. Dr. Theodoros Chrysanidis has a diverse professional background, starting with his work in a private consulting and construction company from April to September 2004. Here, he was involved in supervising and monitoring construction works in reinforced concrete structures, managing materials, organizing construction sites, and monitoring project economics. From June to December 2006, Dr. Chrysanidis worked at the private consulting and construction company E.M.BI.K. S.A., focusing on static and dynamic analyses of steel industrial buildings and supervising projects in all phases of construction. Since 2005, he has been involved in consulting and supervising private technical projects and, since 2006, has been estimating real estate commercial values as an External Estimator at the Commercial Bank of Greece. His work includes a comprehensive study of the adsorption and accumulation of cadmium in various vegetables and fruits, with a subsequent modeling of cadmium in one of these specimens, completed in collaboration with the Power Ministry in July 2008. Additionally, he applied Artificial Neural Network techniques to predict salinity in the Vanier station of the Talekh river in Iran, also in partnership with the Power Ministry and completed in 2008. His expertise extends to analyzing surface water quality using Bayesian time series and assessing existing water quality stations in the Karoon River, both in collaboration with the Power Ministry. Prof. Asadollahfardi has also investigated the impact of the Latian Dam on the seismic conditions of the region, with this project being completed in July 2009 as part of his valuable contributions to environmental research and management efforts.
