Dr. Hema Achyuthan has a rich teaching experience of 27 years. She joined Anna University as a Lecturer on December 4, 1991, and served as a Professor from 2008 until 2017. From 2018 to 2021, she was designated as a Professor Emeritus Scientist at CSIR. Since 2021, she has been serving as a Professor Emeritus Honorary at the Institute of Ocean Management (IOM), Anna University, Chennai. With 32 years of research experience, Dr. Hema Achyuthan has made significant contributions to the field of Geology. In 1988, Dr. Achyuthan became the Principal Investigator for a Young Scientist Programme sponsored by DST, leading the project until 1990. In this role, he developed research concepts, reviewed literature, planned and designed data collection instruments, recruited and trained enumerators for data collection, analyzed data, wrote reports on research activities, and drafted manuscripts for publication. He also worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, from October 2017 to January 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Isaac Abunyuwah. In this role, he developed research concepts, reviewed literature, assisted in designing and carrying out research, collected and analyzed data, and wrote reports on research. Additionally, Mr. Yenibehit served as a Zonal Supervisor for the Population and Housing Census (PHC) 2021 at the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) in Accra, Ghana. Additionally, he worked as an Industrial-Science Project Supervisor at Ardabil University of Medical Sciences, Iran, overseeing the project “Plant-based and single cell-based Milk and nutraceutical non-dairy products.” Dr. Babolanimogadam also has international research experience, having worked as a Researcher at the Department of Biotechnology, Lund University, Sweden, under the supervision of Prof. Eva Nordberg Karlsson (August 2019). During this time, his research focused on microbial cultivation technology using the thermophilic aerobe Rhodothermus Marinus. Furthermore, he was an Erasmus Plus scholarship researcher at the Department of Food Technology, Lund University, Sweden, where he worked on the project “Effect of Nanosecond Pulsed Electric Field stress on Probiotic bacteria Products” under the supervision of Federico Gomez and Magnus Carlquist (April to July 2019).
